Mark Galardo

Mark Galardo is Air Canada’s Executive Vice President, Revenue & Network Planning. In this role, he has responsibility for overseeing the development and performance of Air Canada's globe-spanning network, including international regulatory affairs, and the airline's yield management and pricing strategies. He has additional oversight for the development, strategy and management of Star Alliance and code share agreements as well as joint ventures. Mark has been a member of Air Canada's executive team since January 2017.

Over his career, Mark has spearheaded the airline's successful and profitable global network expansion strategies which are a cornerstone to the sustainability of Air Canada’s long-term business objectives. He helped strategically grow Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal into profitable and globally competitive international aviation hubs. Mark was a key player in the airline’s decision to purchase the technologically leading Canadian-built Airbus A220 aircraft and the Airbus A321XLR aircraft. He also took the lead role in negotiating the joint business agreement between United Airlines and Air Canada offering a more seamless travel experience to the airlines' customers.

Mark holds an Executive MBA from Concordia University.

In 2019, Mark was named a recipient of Canada's Top 40 Under 40®, an annual recognition of the exceptional achievements of 40 outstanding Canadians under the age of forty. In 2022, he was honoured by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada with a Premio Venezia award in the Economic Catalyst category for his vision in strengthening the commercial relationship between Canada and Italy. He also serves on the board of the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation.
