Mark Nasr
Mark Nasr is Air Canada’s Executive Vice President, Marketing and Digital. In this role, Mark has oversight for the design of all Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express products, services and amenities available to customers worldwide, and the presentation of the airline’s overall brand worldwide, including marketing communications and commercial sponsorships. Mark is also President of Aeroplan, with responsibility for the Aeroplan loyalty group, including its development, operations, and financial performance. His team also manages Air Canada’s channels, including 3rd-party distribution and the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the airline’s digital channels and CRM.
He became a member of Air Canada’s executive team in July 2017 when he was appointed Vice President, Loyalty and eCommerce, with responsibility for developing the vision and strategies for the transformed Aeroplan loyalty program that successfully launched in 2020.
Mark joined Air Canada in 2016 as Managing Director, eCommerce, Loyalty Programs and Ancillary Revenues, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry across three continents. After starting his career in hotel operations and revenue management at Hilton, Marriott and IHG properties, he joined the Continental Airlines management team in 2006, initially in Revenue Management and later leading the airline's first Ancillary Revenues practice. In 2010, he joined the United management team, first leading Merchandizing Ancillary Revenues, then Digital Channels, and finally, as head of Corporate Strategy and Development.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Business Administration; Concentration in Information Systems Management – Magna Cum Laude honors from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, and he was named one of Crain’s Business 20 in their 20’s. Mark also holds a patent for check-in and ID scanning, a product used by approximately a dozen airlines, as well as a patent application for airline seating systems. He also serves on the board of Miles4Migrants.
